Keeping the race dream alive.
Follow along with me as I chase second chances…and speed!
Never slow down, never quit on your dreams.
Hi, I’m Todd Stark, race car driver and 75-year old double-lung transplant survivor. I’m excited to share my journey with you as I work to rebuild my Formula car and get back on the track, one lap at a time. I hope I can inspire you to never slow down or quit on your dreams!
Follow along with me on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. I’m also looking for brand partnerships. I’d like to be your marketing partner, taking your brand to the front. After all I am a Master at Mechanical Marketing.
Here I am at a SCCA event.
Racing under Corvette Bridge at Road America.

The Story of Todd Stark & FASTDAD Racing
Like most guys, I’ve lived a long life with decades of different responsibilities. Sometimes I was on the track, sometimes in the shop as a mechanic to provide for my family. Then a health scare almost sidelined me. FASTDAD Racing is my way of showing that when life gives you a second chance, you don’t park it, you hit the gas.
I hope my story proves it’s never too late to chase what moves you!
Want to Partner with me?
I’m looking for brand partners! I’d love to learn more about how I can share your product with my audience. I’m looking for partners who see the value in doing something bold — something that makes people believe again.
The Car
I bought this car in 2007. It’s a 1999 Carbir DSC3 chassis no. 3. It’s presently in my shop being upgraded and improved. Follow along as I build it out and install many of my own ideas for speed and handling. Powered by a 2 liter Ford engine capable of 145-150 mph!
“Whether I’m behind a welder or behind the wheel of a race car, I’m always looking for ways to go faster, build better, and live bolder.”
I’m also the owner of FASTDAD Machine Works
At FASTDAD Machine Works, I do custom welding, machining, and fabrication for anything that moves—or needs to. This business was launched to fuel my racing dreams, and I’ve love to help you fuel yours too. I’ve got decades of hands-on experience, and I still run my shop like the old-school pros taught me: no shortcuts, just solid work.
If you’ve got something worth building—or rebuilding—let’s talk. I’m ready when you are. Let’s build something fast! FA
